How to Get there
By Plane
Alaminos City, the home of the Hundred Islands National Park, is a 5-hour journey from Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport and a 3-hour drive from Pampanga’s Clark International Airport.
By Private car
Manila is well-connected to major international destinations, so finding a flight should be relatively easy. Once you arrive at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, you have a few transportation options to reach Hundred Islands National Park.
If you’re in a private car, the most direct route is via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX)-Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), exiting at Luisita, Tarlac, and via the Camiling route. From Camiling, go to San Clemente (Tarlac), then to Mangatarem, Aguilar, Bugallon, Labrador, and Sual (Pangasinan). Finally, get to Alaminos City.
The journey by road usually takes around four to five hours, depending on traffic conditions.
By Bus/PUV
Going to Alaminos
- From Cubao, Manila, board a bus destined for Alaminos, Pangasinan. Reliable bus companies such as Victory Liner, Five Star Bus, Philippine Rabbit, and Dagupan Bus operate daily trips to Alaminos. The fare is around P393 ($7) for air-conditioned buses and approximately P350 ($6) for regular buses, with a travel time of about 5 hours.
NOTE: The Victory Bus service from Cubao to Alaminos, Pangasinan, operates between 2:00a.m and 11:50 p.m. Conversely, buses from Alaminos, Pangasinan to Cubao, Manila (via Dau, Pampanga) depart hourly from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- From Clark Airport, Get on a jeepney and go to Dau Bus Terminal. Take a Victory Liner bus from Dau Terminal to Alaminos, Pampanga.
- From Baguio City travel time is around 3 hours; PUVs such as vans or buses (e.g., Victory Liner, MhelBhen Transport) are available.
- From Manaoag one-hour PUV van rides will get you to Dagupan City. From Dagupan City, take another PUV that is going to Alaminos City. If you have your own car, take the San Jacinto road all the way to Mangaldan and Dagupan City.
- From Dagupan City, It takes about 1.5 hours and you can take a PUV like a van or a bus (like Victory Liner or MhelBhen Transport). You can get to Alaminos City by bus or PUV at least every half hour.
From Alaminos to Lucap Wharf
Lucap Terminal is located in front of SUKI supermarket.
Use a tricycle to reach Lucap Wharf, the starting point for island hopping. Lucap Wharf is also home to the Tourism Information Center. The tricycle fare is approximately P15 ($0.28) per person and departs when fully occupied. Alternatively, you can hire the entire tricycle to Lucap Wharf for about P100 ($2).

By Boat
When you’re ready to set sail, head to the Alaminos Wharf, where you’ll find plenty of boat rental services and tour operators offering island trips. The boats are typically traditional Filipino outrigger canoes, known as “bangkas” which are sturdy and well-suited for navigating the waters around Hundred Islands National Park.
You can drive or ride a tricycle directly to Don Gonzalo Montemayor Wharf, Brgy. Lucap, and look for the City Tourism Office – Welcome Center that can help you find the best outriggers to get you to Hundred Islands National Park and let you use the water sports facilities and other services on the islands.
NOTE: At the Tourism Information Center, finish the registration procedure and pay the total amount due for boat hire, insurance, environmental considerations, and admittance to enjoy island hopping in the Hundred Islands. Do your transaction at the City Tourism Office and designated satellite offices at Bued Mangrove Park and Bolo Beach.
